As you might know, Mozilla Firefox has a "backspace" as a [back] shortcut key when no text field is focused. This combined with over-sensitive laptop mousepad randomly clicking on the screen as i hover to write, resulted in the loss of many lines. I therefore will not explain why things work and only instate the following orders. Feel free to ask for more information by replying to the thead.
23rd March 2014 - I institute the DEFCON levels of alertness, mirroring the real ones, for better defensive purposes, as followed:
DEFCON 5 - Stay Consistent - basic daily routine / no aggressive action taking place
1 - Daily Quest + Guild Quest
2 - Bonuses: Daily Chance, Secret Gift, Athena's Gift
3 - Check Alliance Chat / Mailbox / Notifications
4 - Building + Research
5 - Traps + Troops
6 - Send March(es) to gather resources (Food, Lumber, Stone, Iron, Silver - tiles)
7 - Minor skirmishes on resource tiles should be treated lightly (observe Matthew 5:39)
NOTE - you should have 6 progress bars at all time on your screen, plus 1: your March moving onto a resource tile.
DEFCON 4 - Precaution Measures - we are known to be in the attention of hostile threat more powerful then ours
1 - Have the highest level of Granary to protect your resources
2 - Have the highest level of Embassy to be able to host as many reinforcements as possible if needed
3 - Claim Quest Rewards on a Need-to-Have basis, not leaving any excess as you leave the game for the night
4 - Save the most expensive Research of the day for last
5 - Bookmark locations far away for future use
6 - Worn the alliance Diplomat (that would be me for now) of potential predators scouting
DEFCON 3 - Evasive measures - attacks are being launched by a player
1 - Send all the excess resources - most certainly Silver - to a fellow member that doesn't receive as much unwanted attention from predators
2 - Send all your troops in an 8h False March or keep them hidden in a resource tile from farther away
3 - Don't build traps
4 - Match your army's size to the Hospital total capacity and revitalize it again only if you're sure that you can recover their current and potential cost of revitalizing.
5 - Send scouts to the cities of inbound Rallies
6 - Provide me with a name and let me be your voice against your aggressor - I will speak to both the aggressor and the leader of his group
7 - Surf the chat for further development of the situation
DEFCON 2 - Passive Intelligence Gathering - diplomatic efforts fail
1 - to inhibit further conflict, no new scouting reports are to be produced
2 - centering the intelligence gathered thus far on current forum
3 - establishing the main active players from the enemy alliance
4 - calculating the routine and military presence of the active players in discussion
5 - if it's the case, establish a "Bear Trap"
6 - establish a date in calendar and an hour for military actions and a list with participating members and their specific orders
DEFCON 1 - "All Hands on Deck"
1 - All players stand by for military intervention, as briefed in the Council room
