Being hit multiple times over night. This has occur and i have recorded the events.
As you can see, there are 4 battles. This is what happened:
9.550 - initial troops
----- 1st - battle -----
5.267 > Hospital (5.267 / 8.000 capacity)
========================
4.283 - remaining troops
----- 2nd - battle -----
2.733 > Hospital (8.000 / 8.000 capacity) - HOSPITAL FULL!
1.550 > killed
========================
0 - troops remaining. (by this time, traps are also down to 0)
But then i did something stupid... I revitalized 2.884 units => Hospital @ 5.116 / 8.000 capacity.
2.884 - revitalized troops
----- 3rd - battle -----
1.083 > Hospital (6.199 / 8.000 capacity)
========================
1.801 - remaining troops
----- 2nd - battle -----
719 > Hospital (6.918 / 8.000 capacity)
========================
1.082 - troups left in the garrison for the remainder of the night
SUMMARY
1- only traps and kills are calculated (the rest - hospitalized troops - are instantly regenerating)
CONCLUSION
#1 - Building traps is not encouraged - draws in predators who exchange them for XP for their hero.
#2 - Building troops more then they can fit into the hospitals - also draws in predators. If one does not have one of the largest army in the region to impose his authority, one should use a force large enough to fit in hospitals at night and large enough to gather resources in daytime. In the meantime, he should focus on researching higher tier units and slowly replace the old ones.
#3 - The only resource that they can affect is Silver, which works like "mana" from other games (it's usable only in research). Research plays a big role in determining army strength, with logarithmic differences (units stars do count a lot!).
#4 - People hunt - to increase Hero power (thus army power) and to unlock army upgrades (thus army power). This truly is a merciless "war game" and until we can find a moral solution to engaging a weaker alliance, we must evade falling pray to bigger ones.
Don't commit to army just yet! Have a gathering army and spend your silvers on time. In the meantime, try not to skip quests so as to compensate for not feeding your hero as much XP as the predators. After Stronghold lvl 10 things get complicated, as they will be able to imprison your hero and ultimately execute him. (but there are boosts to compensate for these as well).
Thus being said, when we are attacked by predators, let us remember the spirit of one great man of our recent times...
God bless you, brothers and sisters!
